Happy Halloween!

Ok, so Halloween is almost over, but I'm sneaking in a quick wish for you to have a fun and safe time. I had my Halloween fun yesterday. This year my costume was Abby Sciuto from NCIS. :-) So much fun to put that ensemble together, let me tell you!

I've been watching the Ghost Hunters live Halloween event (between naps) and just heard that the winner of the vote for locations to revisit will be Waverly Hills in Louisville, KY. Keep an eye open for Jason and Grant, Brad! ;-) If you see them, you totally have to get their autographs for me.

Unfortunately, I didn't win the contest where the grand prize was a trip to the Stanley Hotel in Colorado (inspiration and filming site for Stephen King's "The Shining"). Bummer. :-( That would have been awesome. However, I did check out the hotel's website out of curiousity and discovered that they have a ghost hunting package! You even get a K2 meter to use as you stay up all  night trying to scare the crap out of yourself. Sweet.  Now all I need is the money to travel to and stay there. I'm thinking it might be a few years before that happens.

Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys the holiday, it's my favorite. There's just something that I love about a day dedicated to candy, and the fun of pretending to be someone (or something) else for a little while. It's a great escape from the stress of the everyday.

I wish I'd been able to see you dressed up as Abby. That must have been so much fun!

I watched a bit of the Ghosthunter live yesterday and it was cool but then something struck me about the show. In the nightvision camera they had that blond guy (I didn't catch his name) but he was investigating with the redhead and they looked just like Fred and Daphne from Scooby-Doo. Once I noticed that I kept giggling and couldn't take them seriously.

I'm still a major fan of Jason and Grant though!

Even though it's a day late, Happy Halloween back to you, Kaycee!
Had a great time trick-or-treating with the boys and riding the Ghost Train (it pays to have contacts who are as geeky as me ;-)).
Speaking of which, even though I haven't been very active lately, I still have stuff going on with the Louisville Ghost Hunter's Society from time to time.
It might not be too unreasonable to think I might get to meet Jason and Grant when they come back.
Not definite, mind you, but possible.

Jai, I posted pics of me in my costume on the WD forum in the Sci-fi/Fan forum "Procrastination Station" thread, if you want to see my costume. :-)

Brad, I wish I knew when the Ghost Hunters would be there, I could plan my visit to my best friend for that time period. I didn't get time to visit this summer.
