Hey, Thanks Jai!

Look at me, I rhymed!

Aaanyway! Jai Joshi over at the Tulsi Tree nominated me for an award. The name is really long and I can't remember it. But I'm supposed to put it up here. Only problem there is, I can't figure out how to do it!

I know, you're all laughing at me. I just don't get all the html stuff. So, I'll have it up as soon as I can. Providing someone will take pity on me and tell me how to add awards to my blog.

I also have to thank Brad over at Bradley's Brain. He nominated me for an Honest Scrap award a few weeks back. I didn't know the rules about how to accept and pass on awards then.

As soon as I get it all figured out, I'll follow the rules. I'm a follower, not a leader.

P.S. I already have both of them linked in my author blogs list. :-) They rock!

It took me a long time to figure out how to do what I can do so far and there's so much more to learn. Being computer dumb is not much fun these days--I wish I had a tech on tap that I could just call up when needed.
The way I've gone about it is just go to the Google help pages and follow instructions and search for what I want to figure out. So far I haven't deleted my blog or anything horrible so I must be doing things right so far. Good luck and congrats on the awards.

What worked for me was to save the award picture onto my computer and then upload it to my blog. You can put the pictures in your sidebar from the layout page. Click "add a gadget" and select "picture." Once you have the gadgets loaded, you can move them by click and drag.

To post the picture in the post, just find the little button for "add image." Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy. Hope that helps. :D

What Jaleh said.

I also replied to your comment on my "Creative Moi" post with more details on how to deal with awards.

Thanks for the help! :-) I'm working under a deadline for an e-mag submission and am not sure if I will get to it until tomorrow or Monday.
